Maryann Fernandez
Managing Director
Maryann is a Managing Director supporting both the continued growth of the firm and client engagements. Based in Florida, Maryann has been part of the philanthropy/wealth management community for more than 20 years with deep experience in financial services as well as philanthropy. She is a founder of the award-winning Shaking the Tree Interactive Productions which utilizes professional theater and video to catalyze meaningful discussions around wealth and purpose. She has also led customized international and domestic philanthropic learning journeys and field trips, enabling philanthropists to explore critical issues on a community level, and has helped numerous non-profit organizations to be more sustainable and responsive to the needs of their stakeholders.
I help families dream big about the positive impact they can make in the world. I particularly enjoy working with the rising generation where philanthropy can be a great way to leverage passion for a cause, to learn life skills – reading financials, establishing relationships, strategic thinking, and finding their own voice. I joined Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd., because the firm mirrors my passions for stimulating and leading change in local communities and the world and provides a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
