Tracey is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor leading client engagements and supporting thought leadership for the firm. In her own words: I have been in the philanthropic sector for the last 20 years as a funder and as a fundraiser. In my experience as the Executive Director of Essendant Charitable Foundation and as a fundraiser for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, I’ve developed a keen understanding of how nonprofits operate and what questions funders should be asking as they contemplate their grantmaking. I’ve learned so much from the corporations, institutions, families and individuals I’ve worked with, and I hope I’ve helped them with impactful giving. I will continue to help donors clarify and articulate their goals and passions and match them with opportunities to build capacity in organizations to carry out their missions.
Personally I care deeply about issues affecting women and families, including reproductive justice and income inequality. I love hearing the stories about what brings our clients to their philanthropic work and, most importantly, I love seeing the results of their efforts. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with my husband and two boys.
